Should you change your target audience if paying users are totally different from who you expected?

When we first started we had a really specific user in mind.

But once we went live the people actually buying and using the app were completely different. They had different problems but they were the ones actually paying us money.

Do you still start with the old tools before AI takes over?

I still design in Adobe first. It's in my fingers, like being used to writing notes with a pen and then having to do everything on a computer.

After that I bring it to life with AI, which opens up a lot I couldn't do on my own before. But I don't want to skip the first part. That's where I actually think.

Anyone else feel burned out by heavy Task Managers?

I used to move everything through Trello columns daily.

It worked for a while, but over time, the setup became cluttered. Managing the boards took more energy than completing the items on them.

I ended up switching to a much lighter, minimal checklist setup that just stays out of my way.

what did you replace it with? Did a simpler app work better, or did you drop task management tools entirely?
