Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm someone who loves returning to favorite travel destinations, but I noticed a frustrating pattern on first visits — I'd always end up at the same tourist spots. When I tried to find something different by searching Facebook and Instagram, I'd still discover the same places: locations featured on TV shows, those Instagram-famous spots everyone posts about. But I had no way to find out where locals actually spend their time or what places hold real meaning for them. That's why I created LocalStory. I wanted to hear authentic stories directly from locals themselves — stories like "I used to hang out here during my college years and built so many memories" or "This view always gave me clarity when work got overwhelming."
