Aqua Voice vs Wispr Flow

I'm a big fan of voice dictation apps. In fact, I'm using one right now to write this very post (you'll have to wait till the end to see which one I'm using )

The two main products I've used in this space are @Aqua Voice and @Wispr Flow. From talking to others, these are the two that I typically hear people mention using. In general, I hear a lot more people talk about using Wispr Flow.

Is interacting with AI characters becoming the norm for you? (Your POV)

Common Sense Media published a report on this topic, and it reminded me of how big a bubble I live in.

When Meta announced back in 2024/2025 that they wanted to create AI avatars to boost engagement, I was skeptic, but data speaks clearly  young people enjoy AI interaction.

Why 90% of great ideas never make their first dollar

Hey Product Hunt Community!

After talking to thousands of creators and first-time founders, I discovered something that keeps killing great products before they even launch:

Most ideas die in the gap between "This could work" and "Here's version 1."

Will HR positions survive the rise of AI?

I often see the media sharing articles about layoffs due to AI, how junior programmer positions are less in demand, how there is also a decreased interest in copywriters and graphic designers, etc.

About 2 weeks ago, Teammates launched a tool (AI HR-ist), and right now I came across a post from a local marketer who shared interesting data about Ask AI (an internal AI/chatbot system), which today handles almost 94% of all routine HR requests, such as:

  • vacation requests

  • onboarding new employees

  • payroll information and attendance records

  • benefit selection and answers to basic employment questions

Results of AI implementation at IBM

  • 94% of the HR agenda is automated

  • Payroll, vacation, administration even terminations have been automated

  • $3.5 billion saved

  • 40% drop in HR costs

IBM also claims that employees are happier. The HR department s internal NPS score increased from -35 to +74 after the implementation of AskHR (source: HR Asia). 6% of questions are still directed at people AI has not yet completely replaced complex or emotionally sensitive situations.

Will Perplexity "overshadow" OpenAI?

I read in TechCrunch today that Perplexity is trying to dominate the Indian market, which could potentially increase the number of users (and thus compete with OpenAI).

Perplexity is trying to attract more users by offering a free 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription normally worth $200 to all 360 million Airtel subscribers. (That is the cost for them.)

Coding with an AI IDE (visual) vs AI CLI (Terminal), what's better?

I've been primarily using @Cursor as I like how it operates, enjoy that it's visual, and I am getting very comfortable with using it and being able to easily select different code bits and modify what I need....however....
I recently started using Gemini CLI in @Warp and I must say... I'm kinda liking it. I feel that it's able to do a lot more, faster without needing me to jump in. When I do jump in, it's simply to provide it guidence and direction.
I haven't done much with it yet, but I can see myslef now doing a combination of CLI and IDE development. I'm curious what everyone elses experience is! Or if you haven't used a CLI or IDE AI tool, why?
A bit of additional background, I'm not a develpoer but more of a "vibe coder" I can kinda understand different languages and don't mind diving into tech docs but I prefer AI do more of the coding than me :)

What’s the most "invisible” product you can’t live without?

We re working on smart home tech that aims to be invisible, useful, and quietly perfect in the background.
