sometimes i keep working until midnight. so the hardest part for me is to stop working when i am excited about something :-) when i travel and work remotely, the hardest part is to find new friends and keep them.

home with occasional coffee shop. before covid i was regular in a one coffee place with co-working. that was ideal for the calls. i can't really make a call in the noisy coffee shop.

there is definately a space for both, synchronous and asynchronous communication. unfortunately, most of the workers are pushed into synchronous communication that is overused in genearal. it is great for important meetings like planning and sprints. but do we really need to respond immediately on every message? it reminds me notifications on my phone that i all turned off few years ago....

asynchronous communication in remote work is crucial. the problem is, how do you switch old-school organization into new way of thinking? the people in the old-school organizations expect instant replies.
