I ve spent almost 8 9 months building a SaaS product in a very niche space.
I m bootstrapping it, so I ve also been doing all the marketing myself posting in communities, trying different things, getting people to the website, figuring out what works, etc.
After months of doing this, I finally saw something exciting in the analytics:
If your parents live far from you (different city or country), you probably know that low-grade worry of are they okay today? not enough to call every day, but enough to sit in the back of your mind.
Idea: parent gets a daily prompt, taps one button ( I m fine ) or sends a quick voice note. You get notified instantly, and only get an alert if they don t respond, so you know something might be off.
The idea is to keep it dead simple (no typing, no menus) since that s usually the biggest barrier for elderly parents and tech.
