As a company owner, security is my top priority, but I hate the friction of traditional VPNs. Tailscale is a game-changer for our internal products. We can access our staging servers and private databases from anywhere without exposing a single port to the public internet.
The "Zero Config" setup is real—it literally took us minutes to build a secure mesh network. If you’re building a B2B SaaS or managing a small dev team, this is the gold standard for "Invisible Security." Highly recommended
What needs improvement
While the core product is nearly perfect, the mobile experience could be smoother; occasionally, the client needs a manual re-authentication that can break "always-on" connectivity. Additionally, for a growing B2B agency, having more granular Access Control List (ACL) visualization—perhaps a GUI to see exactly who can talk to which server—would make auditing our security even easier as the team expands.

vs Alternatives
Pure WireGuard is incredibly fast, but managing the peer-to-peer keys and NAT traversal manually as we scale from 2 to 15 members would have become a full-time job. Tailscale took the speed of WireGuard and added a layer of management that made it effortless.
