I've used various commenting tools and Simple Commenter is the one that stuck. It is easy to use, easy to install and makes communication between my assistant and myself seamless. Very reasonably price too. The developer is very responsive to ideas and suggestions which is great.
What needs improvement
All suggestions I made was implemented very quicky, so at the moment I have nothing to suggest!
Does it slow down your website or affect performance?
Not that I've noticed at all.
Can clients comment on staging and production separately?
Clients can comment wherever it is installed.
How responsive is support when issues arise?
