I'm Marco, founder of Valtiqo. I wanted to introduce myself properly.
I'm self-taught I never went to university for coding. I learned by building. Over the past year I've built algorithmic trading bots, crypto infrastructure tools, and most recently Valtiqo an AI-powered crypto card.
The thing that pushed me to build Valtiqo was simple frustration. I hold crypto and I couldn't spend it without jumping through 5 hoops. I looked at what existed and nothing was built for people who actually live in crypto.
So I built it myself. Mobile app, web app, backend, brand solo, in weeks.
Today we launched on Product Hunt and it feels surreal.
Happy to talk about:
Building solo as a self-taught developer
The crypto card space and why it's broken
What it's like raising pre-seed as a first time founder
What's the hardest part of building solo that you've experienced?
A few days ago, own.page reached #2 Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
As a solo founder competing against products backed by much larger teams, this wasn't something I expected - but it was something I was determined to achieve. There were moments during the launch when I thought it would be incredibly difficult.
420M people own crypto. None have a card built for them. Valtiqo changes that.

The crypto card that should have existed years ago.
