Critical Thinking Trainer

I built a product that takes some time to get used to before it starts bringing real value. It's not easy, but I'm trying to slightly change how people think.
Why?

The thing is, with the rise of AI chats, we've started thinking on our own much less. We make fewer independent decisions and come up with fewer ideas. The parts of the brain responsible for critical thinking simply stop working.

Think about it - when was the last time you fully thought through your own idea without ChatGPT?

My first launch is coming soon and I'm really excited

I feel nervous about my first launch, like before an exam.

When you choose day X, it looks like just a date in the calendar.

But in reality, your head starts spinning: what if it is too early, what if it is not ready, what if nobody notices...

What does it "cost" to build a community on Product Hunt?

Many of you sometimes write to me in DMs asking how to position yourself on Product Hunt.

From the question, I always get the feeling that people want to speed up the process, publish something quickly, get a high position in the ranking of launched products and a badge. But this is a long-term game.

Try to come up with your next SaaS idea

I'm preparing a small web demo before launch, so you can quickly test out my idea.

The concept is a way to boost your creativity. The idea is that instead of a long read from ChatGPT (where we often take a ready-made answer without thinking), the application will provide short prompts and pose tricky questions from different characters. This process activates your brain, making it work harder, which is key to generating truly new ideas.

How many attempts did it take you to launch your first successful business?

From listening to different people and their journeys, I ve realised that before they built their first profitable product, many of them failed multiple times.

Similar stories were shared by @marclou , @levelsio or @iuliia_sh to name a few.

I'm building an app that slows down your work

Why do you need this? For when creativity is required. So you can stop and think for yourself, instead of taking a generic and ready-made answers from ChatGPT/etc.

It helps you learn to think independently instead of handing everything over to AI. Yes, it's harder and takes longer. But the result will be better because the outcome is yours - you come up with the idea yourself. AI hasn't reached the level where it can think for us yet. But it's great at push us - and that's what Ideation does.

How are you using Reddit for traction without being a spammer?

I'm hitting a wall trying to gain alpha users for a live app with a fairly specific use-case.

My fear of becoming "Spammy McSpamerson" has been so strong that I've paralyzed myself into doing nothing. I had been responding with useful advice here and there but I'm not sure when or how to bring up my solution.

I'd love tips from founders who've successfully used Reddit to naturally connect with people who genuinely need their product. How did you find the right communities, contribute meaningfully, and know when it was appropriate to share?

The real bottleneck in AI isn’t speed, it’s certainty

Most teams still obsess over making AI faster.

Faster inference.
Faster responses.
Faster loops.

But here s the pattern we keep seeing in production:

  • Speed isn t what breaks first.

  • Certainty does.

Motivation for creating Ideation: people are too lazy to spend one minute thinking about an idea.

How often have you had a idea pop into your head, only for it to be immediately forgotten?
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you actually tried to bring it to life right now?

2 3 years ago, while building a game, I read Jesse Schell's classic, The Art of Game Design. I picked up one key habit from it that I still use daily: immediately writing down any idea and spending at least a minute reflection.

How often do you take the first AI answer without thinking a bit more?

Sometimes AI gives the first answer and we re just like: okay. But often the second or third option turns out more interesting, because that s when you actually start thinking, not just repeating what AI said. How often do you catch yourself accepting that first answer instead of turning the idea in your own mind?

How do you decide which idea is worth building?

I have a lot ideas on my list, but only one is in active development right now. Part of me wants to build them all at once, but it's not realistic.

How do you prioritize? How do you choose what's worth your focus?

Of course, there are the basic methods, looking at trends, market research, asking friends, asking producthunt... :)

Ideation: Your Creative Idea - Take creativity back from AI. Like Pinterest, but for text

Ideation - brainstorm with AI... but keep full control over your ideas. Most AI assistants handle everything for you from start to finish. Our app doesn’t solve your problems. It nudges your thinking. Short hints and questions help you look at topics from new angles and unlock your creativity. It’s like inspiration from books, pictures, quotes, or music: they don’t give answers or ready-made ideas, but they spark ideas. That’s real creative brainstorming. In Your mind.

Hi! I launching a product on my own for the first time, and I can't choose the right positioning

I'm a web developer from a big product company, and I have a lot of experience building and launching products inside the company.

Now I ready to launch my own app. It's about generating ideas with AI. There are already some apps like this, but my main feature is that you can choose different roles to generate ideas, for ex: a marketer, an astrologer, a toxic :) etc.

Is it worth making another b2c AI product?

Hi! How are things going for those who launched an AI product recently?

I seen that the cost of getting a paying user through ads can reach $200 for AI products! And still, that doesn't stop anyone - on Product Hunt I see 2/3 new AI products every single day.

Where do you find cheaper traffic sources? Is it worth doing? What launch strategy should I choose?

It's hard to count on virality - most products don't have it.

Do you think AI is making you lazier and less original?

MIT just dropped a fascinating (and slightly scary) study.

They had participants write SAT-style essays using:

  1. ChatGPT

  2. Google

  3. Just their brains

What happened?
