Hi everyone I'm the maker of AnySearch Pro, an on-device file search app for Mac.
Before launch I'd like to learn how people actually look for files. Do you rely on Spotlight, Finder search, a terminal, or just remember folder paths? Where does it break down for you too many unrelated results, slow updates after a file changes, or no good way to filter by size or date?
Concrete examples are the most useful. Product page: https://www.producthunt.com/prod.... Thanks!
AnySearch Pro finds any file on your Mac as you type. It indexes millions of files on-device, ranks the best match first, and lets you filter by type, size, date and folder, search in Pinyin, or ask in plain words. Nothing leaves your Mac.
Hi everyone I'm the maker of PrajnaLamp ( ), a Chinese-language Buddhist reading and daily practice app for iOS and Android.
I'm sharing it here in the product's own forum to invite useful feedback ahead of our launch. The app brings together character-by-character pinyin, reading bookmarks and auto-scroll, digital prayer beads, Buddhist music, and practice records. The launch gallery includes real screenshots from both platforms, with English captions explaining the features.
