PH asks for feedback: What helps you the most when considering new products to try?

Hey everyone It s Daniel here, the newest member of Product Hunt s product team. As you all know, PH is always on a mission to help people find new and interesting products to use. To take this experience to the next level, we would love to get your opinion on the matter. Currently, there is a lot of information available on the product page, including reviews, alternatives, related products, trending products, comments, badges, makers/hunters, and so on Which features help you the most when deciding whether a product is worth trying or not? Is there anything else you would like to see us improve (or create) to help you in your product search? Thank you for your feedback, Happy Monday!

How do you tune in on the working mode? Share your mood hacks 💥

I mostly rely on music, but sometimes It's a show or a video game let's play I put as a background. It just gamifies the experience and works really well for me (It distracts to check out what's happening there from time to time, but it's ok if you're doing something creative). Very curious about your hacks!

Why do you work at a startup?

Hey hunters! There are a lot of startupers here. And it is interesting for me why people choose to work for a startup. Personally, I like opportunity to learn something new everyday. My work is quite flexible so my responsibilities could change. And I really like it! What about you? Why have you decided to work at a startup? What is your favorite part of working for a startup?

If you could give only 1 advice to yourself at the beginning of your startup, what would it be?

Let me start! Advice: Start building your audience ASAP and #buildinpublic Why? By doing these, you get support, feedback, and even first customers. These are the core things for Indie and Solo entrepreneurs in the beginning!

How did you validate the need for your startup product?

When we started Sivi, we interviewed various user personas to assess their interest in using AI design tools. When we presented the prototypes, we discovered that business owners and marketers showed remarkable enthusiasm about the product. This validation served as a strong motivation, inspiring us to move forward with the development of Sivi AI. I'd love to hear your experiences and insights.
