I just lost my 260-day streak.
When we launched Ruumio, I told myself, "I am going to be active on Product Hunt every single day from now on. Let's see how long I can keep this up."
It seems like it's been 260 days π
So, this is essentially the number of days since we launched Ruumio here on Product Hunt. π
A lot has changed since then:
We have realized that we use Ruumio ourselves every single day for team...

If you ask me for feedback, I will actually give you my honest feedback
I receive so many feedback requests that I wanted to make this clear:
I won't simply go to your product launch page and click upvote.
Instead, I might check out your product and leave a brutally honest feedback. And this will most likely not just be positive.
I believe the most valuable feedback is the kind you can act one. Even if this is harder to read.
"Congrats on your launch." is not...

Cool idea, but: Does this reset the master/main branch?
Rewriting the git history for the master branch will most likely mess up the local branch for everyone working on this project and all of their other branches.
Why not just revert the last commit? Saves you a lot of trouble.

Completely agree. Personally, I find myself instinctively scrolling past any products that contain AI, GPT or Notion in their name.
But what frustrates me even more are all these generic AI generated comments. Flooding discussions and product pages. These are not helpful and just add noise.
"Congrats. This looks like a game changer. Can't wait to see how this will disrupt the industry!"

It obviously depends.
For our product we actually completely block mobile for our collaboration features. Mobile would require rethinking the whole app design, which would require a lot more resources.
We'll probably add a mobile version in the future, but as long as we don't have 100% certainty with the direction of our product, it just doesn't make sense to spend the resources.
Is it necessary for my product to be compatible on mobile devices?

Do something else.
Forcing yourself is not very effective in my opinion. Instead, I'd do something else where you can make progress right away and come back to it later.
What do you believe is the best thing to do when facing a creative block or a lack of motivation ?

Congrats on the launch!
To be honest, I don't really understand it:
The data has to be decrypted on your servers before sending it to Open AI, right? So I do not really understand the benefit of encrypting it, instead of sending it directly to Open AI.

Sorry, this is going to be a long one:
There is a lot of information available on how to structure your deck, what information you need and how many slides you should have. This also always depends on the audience.
But what I think is equally important or even more important is design. Yes, a lot of people will say that nobody cares about your beautifully designed slides and fancy...
Do you have any top tips for when it comes to building a pitch deck

While participating in and hosting live courses ourselves, we were just annoyed by the traditional video meeting tools, like Zoom. Those are way too passive, boring and hinder creativity. And managing links/resources is just a hassle. Why can't we bring the social experience of in-person workshops to the web?
So weβve built our own.
How did you come up with your product idea and why did you start your project?

I just recently achieved Inbox Zero.
Now I use my email inbox like a to-do list: Everything that I have processed either gets deleted right away or archived if I think I might need it again sometime.
I also unsubscribe from everything I can. If Iβm interested in updates, I just check the website directly; otherwise it just clutters my inbox.
Also, if people send me multiple follow-ups to...

I'm a bit biased but we're actually using Ruumio for all our meetings now, even though it's not the purpose we've build it for π
but it helped us to stay productive.
