How do you handle pricing strategies and discounts?

When I was studying economics, we always said that we base the price on these basic things:

cost level

competition

prominence of the industry/product

ChatGPT is becoming "a shopping AI agent". What is the future of Google, then?

Yesterday, I came across an article on TechCrunch that OpenAI is upgrading ChatGPT search with shopping features.

Slowly but surely, ChatGPT is taking over Google's role and doing it well. I ve noticed it myself, especially how it s replaced much of my browsing.

Have you ever thought about investing in a company you found on Product Hunt?

In a way, every time you buy something through Product Hunt, you're putting hope into that maker or company and, in a sense, you're investing in them.

At the same time, I feel that many makers here are also looking for investors. But not everyone is a VC.

Has anyone else used v0.dev to build a real MVP? Would love to swap notes

Hey everyone

I ve been building products for a long time (15+ years), and I recently tried using v0.dev for the first time. Honestly didn t expect much, but I was surprised how quickly I got something real off the ground - not just a playground UI, but a fully working fitness app with protected routes, dashboards, flow logic, the works.

It s called The HIIT PIT and it s live, but that s not why I m posting.

I m more curious to hear from other devs and indie makers:

What do you think the future looks like for developers when it comes to AI?

ICYMI: @levelsio shipped a flight simulator game last week. It's pretty fun, it's got some low poly / minecraft-esque graphics, pretty good physics, a turbo boost, and even PvP. The kicker is he built it, at least the version one anyway entirely by prompting @Cursor.

It got me thinking about a question that a ton of people have tried to answer in the past few years; What does the future look like for someone getting into development?
