Vercel has been a solo developer's dream. From hosting, to managing deployments, through the entire Nextjs framework itself, this project is simply too big for one person if I did not use vercel.
I found Thirdweb to be the most developer friendly platform to manage most actions of the decentralized application. I found the In App wallet to be vital to making it easy to sign up and have relied heavily on Thirdweb for testing and deploying my smart contracts. Additionally the tech support have been very patient with my dumb questions!
This project is a spinoff of my hack, Bets With Friends, for Based Onchain Summer. The payments and contracts all operate on the Base network, which I found to be the most consumer friendly touch point to crypto. Building on base is a no-brainer if you want to reach real people.
