Hey everyone, back in February I started writing a book on Laravel Queues. I researched the tools I could use to generate the PDF eBook but couldn't find something simple that works out of the box. So, I built ibis. The tool does only one thing, generate an eBook from markdown files. All it needs is PHP7.4 installed on your machine and that's it. Hope you find it useful ❤️

This PHP tool helps you write eBooks in markdown. Run "ibis build" and an eBook will be generated with a cover photo, clickable auto-generated table of contents, and code syntax highlighting.

👋 Hi Product Hunters! Laravel is one of the best & most popular backend frameworks in the world. Helping small startup teams as well as large enterprises build great products. It ships with many powerful components, but one thing that makes it light-years ahead is the completely free high-performance queue system that comes out of the box. I've always wanted to write a book showing the power of...

This looks awesome. However, I'm not sure this would work in really cold or really hot places since you need heating or AC.

Hey Daniel, It's looking very good, the only feedback I have is the password restrictions on signup, no need to have the validation that strict :)

I like meeting new people and I tried some services that introduces you to random ones on the internet. The problem is that people misuse such services and make them look like porn chat rooms. Without monitoring the system and excluding such people the service will remain un-usable for some who's really looking forward to meet interesting people.

It's 2016, I don't believe developers should care about IE anymore as much as they shouldn't care about someone accessing their website using Nokia 7650, just detect if its IE, show a message to the user, and ask him to do himself a favour and switch to Chrome or Firefox

I always find myself asking "Do I really need to pull jQuery for this thing?". This website has a list of instructions on how to accomplish things you used to do with jQuery in native JS.

I love how simple it is, one thing that can be awesome is to allow for a due date with a reminder option, the reminder would post "Hey @person don't forget to Send meeting notes via email, it's due in 1 hour". How cool would that be!

If tech founders can: - Build the product - Market for it - Manage financials Then why the hell would there still be non-technical co-founders for technical startups? I've been building tech products for other non-tech founders for quite a while now and I wonder everyday why don't I build something of my own? I don't see what the other non-tech founders do that hard or require very much skills,...

I don't see why would someone use just an app, specially for creative writing. Unless you are filling a school paper and you need specific number of words so you force yourself to write just anything this app is useless 😑

This is freaking Awesome! I was just talking to the wife about automation and how cool would that be if people have access to all the devices including cars, kitchen equipments, etc.. and be able to automate tasks, life would be easier.
