My hypotheses for FoundersAround failed. What would you do next?

Hey PH

I spent last month testing some assumptions like: founders want to meet others in-person. These assumptions failed as it's not as simple as that. There are some intricacies.

Well, I think will come back to the original asusmption that sort of worked. People liked being on the map, sharing their profile, and getting discovered.

How do you guys manage saved social media content for research?

For I've been dealing with this problem - How do you guys manage to handle all the posts, links, content and research on the trends? Don't you all feel a bit too cluttered managing it all on bookmarks, notion or even inside the saved features of the apps themselves?

Is it really good to succeed at a young age?

I often met people with the mindset:

"I'll work hard until I'm 30, and then I'll enjoy the fruits of my labour."

Many people wanted to get into the Forbes 30 Under 30.

Have you ever pivoted your business / idea? 💡

Tons of great products that we know and use everyday are the result of pivots. You know, sometimes the original idea just isn't working and you have to find a new niche and quick, other times you stumble on a use case that changes the whole game.

Have you ever pivoted? What's the story behind it? How successful was the pivot? I'd love to hear your stories, and potentially feature them in our newsletters!

What’s your favorite onboarding experience from a product (that you actually kept using)?

We re in the thick of redesigning onboarding for a new consumer app trying to make that first minute actually count. Not just informative, but compelling enough that people actually stick around and use it again.

Too many products treat onboarding like a tutorial. And it becomes easy for the user to view it as just another hurdle to get through instead of a moment to get set up for a positive experience. Swipe, swipe swipe, go...

Building a Newsletter in public: Here’s What We’ve Learned

We ve been building Idea TBD in public - a weekly drop where we share raw product ideas, highlight early-stage tools, and experiment with building a community around curiosity and creativity.

It s scrappy. It s messy. It s ours.

Here s what we ve learned so far

Who is building/using agents for Linear?

Linear for Agents is now GA. Who is building or using an agent for Linear?

We recently built one for using Bucket feature flags within Linear (and shared some of our lessons learned). Would love to hear from others building or using agents. We're just getting started with our Linear integration and are keen to get feedback. We've plans to add:

  • Feedback/adoption result summaries to the agent

  • Support for an access summary embed whenever a link to a feature on Bucket is dropped

  • Plus, integrate our feedback function with Linear's customer requests - making it possible to capture customer requests directly from within your application
