I am helping a few of my clients set-up cost-center (subsidiary) in India. No, the taxes are not the most business friendly, but it's still a very feasible option. Why? Because even with 25-27% corporate tax, you save 40-50% on overheads. Before anyone starts with labour exploitation rant, this saving is after paying very competitive and comfortable salaries to the employees.
