I've been a fan of your work since the time of reveal.js and Slides (also being a fellow Swedish maker 🙂), so I got quite excited when this popped up today. Had a look and instant-bought a license! Finally I can actually do snappy promo videos with ease! (so far... I just didn't bother because everything I attempted in iMovie looked like a photo slideshow for my parents...🤷‍♂️) Looking forward to see how the product evolves - it already provides great value. Adding support for video clips in addition to images, and the possibility to have an image stay over several slides (imagine product screenshot with several features being promoted).

Tandem
As a remote-only team, we've now been using Tandem for more than 2 years. Besides Tandem we're using Slack for chat-based, async communication and Notion for documentation and collaboration (i.e. anything that is not ok to be gone within a day, like stuff written in Slack). Especially for a remote team Tandem really bridges the gap. You have the presence of your team in the same way as ICQ and MSN, and everyone is easily accessible. Prior to Tandem people tended to schedule an event in the calendar resulting in 30-45 min blocks and a big mental hurdle that in an office environment would've just been solved by seeking eye contact with someone. This is what Tandem does fix! Would not run a remote team again without it.

Xnapper
Sure, I can use the macos built-in screenshot tool - but sometimes I want them to pop. When a screenshot is not for archiving, but presenting to someone else. No matter if it is publicly on a webpage, or just to convey something over Slack - I'm now using Xnapper than fiddle around myself. Getting a tweakable, professional screenshot with super nice gradient background in basically a click is so much worth it than trying to refresh my brain how I would do it myself, google for a background and so on. I also appreciate and like the perpetual license model - made it an instant buy for me. I always hesitate with a subscription model knowing I most likely forget I have the card registered, withdrawals ticking every month.

Literal
I love tracking stuff, organizing things, recording accomplishments of various sorts as a way to, somehow, make them more persistent. That goes for my reading too. Way back I abandoned Goodreads because it felt outdated, cluttered, and simply bad. Literal is the opposite of Goodreads! My reading definitely leveled up after discovering Literal - quick, clean, beautiful and easy to use. And it does exactly what I want it to - keep track of my reading, having shelves of what I want to read, and help me discover books that inspire me to read even more. Big plus that they've got a real nice open AI, making it possible to roll your own widgets, browser extensions and what not.
