What is the future of passwords on the Internet?

Where do you see passwords in the future? Do you think passwords will always be around? Or are we headed to a fully passwordless Internet/world? Bonus question: what kind of biometric auth do you feel most comfortable with? Full disclosure: I'm working on a product related to passwordless auth.

How do you manage all the PDFs and the notes you take with them?

Hey everyone, this has been a personal struggle for a while now. I have a lot of PDFs and I like making notes, annotating them, and keeping them in one place. I attempted using the kindle app on mac for it, but it's just not working out. I am unable to sync the notes and keep them in one place. How do you handle all the PDFs? I use a mac, I would love your recommendations for it.

If money were no thing, what would you do?

Let me preface this by saying I love working I do, I guess I'm more asking what would you focus your passion on if money were not important? We are always told either to follow our passion or stick with what makes the money. Take money out of the equation, what would you do? I'd have a cabin somewhere in a forest overlooking a lake with no internet whatsoever and just live my life with some dogs.

To-do Lists

Do you like to-do lists or are they distracting?

My marketing tactic. Week #1

Foreword 3 weeks ago I've launched Marketing No More. I was inspired by Brett's Designjoy and decided to do marketing on subscription for SaaS. Simple idea, simple price. After doing some customer development I realize that it will be too complex to provide 15+ services because products on different stages need different approaches. And I decided to niche down and start with a small simpler service blog ghostwriting. And in this series of marketing tactics, weekly I share describe actions I do to attract customers. My global marketing strategy is simple find a repeatable and scalable growth channel that returns $2 or more for every $1 I've put in. Week #1 Right now I am at a very starting point on a mission to get my first customer and will do a manual thing that doesn't scale cold outreach. I've started with simple numbers for the upcoming week: 10 Twitter DMs per day; 10 cold emails; 3 twitter threads per week; 1 micro project in 2 weeks to boost traffic to the site and build an email list; Here are some numbers I got so far: 421 users, 595 sessions(GA) 2 newsletter issues 263 newsletter subscribers(9 unsubscribe) Sold 3 sponsorship posts This number I got from the launch of the first micro-project 100+ Best Marketing Threads. The next one is already a work in progress, but I'll an announcement later(will be about newsletters). That's pretty all with the plans for this week. See you in the next one

What's your take on a business model like OnlyFans but for Entrepreneurs?

The idea is, that you subscribe to a person(builder) and get access to all the products that builder has built or going to be built for free/discounted price (or whatever the terms described). I've seen something like this on Github where developers/organizations sponsor other developers to contribute to open source projects. It is like rewarding the coder for doing the open source community work. There is also a similar like model on patreon where edu-creators create content in several niches and viewers should subscribe to see all those videos. It is more like betting on a person rather than on a specific content/product. What if the same business model was applied on a builder who's building several consumer products? (This may sound stupid, but I'm going to ask anyway) Love to hear your thoughts from the builder's POV and consumer's POV.

How did you get your first 100 users?

The first 100 users is often the first big milestone when it comes to user acquisition. I've seen countless blogs, articles and of course Twitter threads about it, how did you get yours?

What advice would you give someone who is starting their own company?

I wish someone had told me how much time it would take. I was so naive when I started my company, thinking that it would be easy to get off the ground and make a name for myself. What I didn't realize until later is that there's so much work involved in building a business and so many things that can go wrong. I'm grateful for my experience now, but if I could go back and tell myself something about starting a company, it would be: "Don't expect things to go smoothly. And if you had to pivot... PIVOT!"

Best product/ tool/ service to manage your Social media?

Hi Hunters! As we step into this new year, many of us would find ourselves in a similar situation to mine. Should I stick to the existing product. platform. service or try a new social media tool/ platform/ product? I have used many platforms to create, schedule, manage social media posts, conversations and engagement. Each tool comes with its own set of Pro's and Cons. Some allow integration with CRM while some really have a cool analytics dashboard to help you do things with the help of data. Looking for recommendations on which social media tool is preferred by you/ your company. Would appreciate some suggestions.

Is WordPress still a good choice?

I ve build many many websites for clients over the last 10 years. Over the last 18 months, it seems like people have stopped wanting WordPress. Web gone from a few projects a year down to zero. Alternatives have matured (Webflow, React + Headless CMS, TypeDream ) and developers want to work less and less with PHP and/or the WordPress framework. I m curious if anyone else is seeing or feeling the same thing? Does WordPress still have its place? Will it be around forever? Is it dying? Whatever your background and experience, would love to get your perspective on this.
