Have you ever just developed any saas without thinking of marketing it?

This is a very classic founder problem which many first time developers make. The classic "I should develope this product with so and so features to make it the best product in the market". It simply doesn't matter. Show your product to your potential customers.

I also had fallen for this mistake when I developed my first saas. I thought of marketing it for a market which did not exist at all. And the worst part, I ran ads for it. It wasn't a big budget but I still consider it as a big blunder on my side. Then I came up with the second idea regarding LinkedIn. Now, the LinkedIn related saas had a completely opposite problem. It had a market, but it was extremely competitive. It was like every one guy on reddit has made exactly that same product. So, I took two attempts to understand the value of marketing, competition analysis and whether the product actually works or I am just building.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 We built one place to use 5 AI video models (no subscription)

Hi Product Hunt

We're ShineGenAI a small team building an AI video generator that puts 5 top models (Grok, Seedance, Veo, Wan, Kling) in one place. Text or image video, with audio.

Why we built it: we kept bouncing between different tools for different models, each with its own subscription. So we put them under one roof, on a simple pay-as-you-go credit system no monthly lock-in, and free credits to try everything first.

We just launched on PH today and would genuinely love to hear what this community is building too. Happy to swap notes with other makers, especially other bootstrapped / solo teams figuring out organic growth

Getting your first 100 users is harder than building the product. Change my mind.

Building feels straightforward.

You have a problem, you open your laptop, you build, break things, fix them, ship features, repeat.
