Advice on how to get threads approved more on Product Hunt?

I always aim to raise topics and questions relevant to startups/products and my personal endeavors that others might relate to. The threads usually start with an intro to the topic, my experience, and, lastly, ask others to share their experiences. I try to structure these parts into clear, error-free sections so that they are easy to read. I have never used AI, for what it's worth. To be...

Who here has fully vibecoded a profitable product?

On social media, we're constantly hearing about individuals who never knew how to code and were able to vibecode a product within a short period of time. Whenever I come across these posts, I always wonder if their product is truly marketable and profitable. Or, they are just selling the dream. My experience with vibecoding is that, at the moment, it's not really possible to create a decent...

What's one healthy habit that vastly improved your quality of life?

A lot of us tend to neglect our health, being so entrenched in the work we're doing. That's unfortunate because without health, we can't really do much. It should be prioritized above all. Prioritizing health starts with simple habits. Personally, exercising even just 45 minutes a day (usually in the morning) - whether that's lifting weights or shooting hoops has greatly improved my posture,...

What's one productivity hack that you want to gatekeep?

I'll start, I can't believe I didn't know this - A friend taught me earlier today regarding the "plus trick", also known as "plus addressing", for Gmail addresses. You simply type in + after the prefix of your email address along with any text, and any email sent to this will still arrive in your inbox. For example: If my email is sean@gmail.com, any emails sent to sean+business@gmail.com,...

If you lost everything and had to start from zero, how would you get back?

There's always a lesson in failure. If anyone went through the situation of having lost everything, would love to hear about your story on how you got back on track! If not, would still love to hear about your hypothetical approach.

What tool(s) do you use find most useful when expanding your network?

Entrepreneurs tend to meet a ton of people and due to the sheer volume of connections made, it's common to forget the details around certain connections. So I've heard a tool to better organize the contacts would be super helpful. What tool(s) do you find the most useful when expanding your network? What tools would you like to see developed?

How are things going for non-AI products right now?

I'm currently building in Social tech with no plan on integrating AI in the near future. It's an app that'll enable users to connect with others near them and attend/host events. Are you also building a product that doesn't have an AI component? How has it been? Has the available funding decreased for "unsexy" ideas since the advent of AI?

Anyone else building under tremendous stress right now?

Personally, I was laid off a year ago and currently bottoming out on savings. Every day is not guaranteed, quite literally, at this point. Yet, I keep my head down and continue building out a product relentlessly that I, quite frankly, have no idea how it will turn out. Many of us took this leap of faith and are under strenuous circumstances, especially in the current market. If you're in...
