Dr. Robinson is a scientist and entrepreneur with deep AI and machine learning expertise. After earning a Ph.D. in computational astrophysics from the University of Washington—where he developed source characterization algorithms for a NASA/DOE Gamma Ray Telescope—he transitioned to roles spanning numerical simulation, machine learning, anomaly detection, and international nuclear policy. He's led the development of cutting-edge computer vision algorithms, spatial object localization, deep learning for anomaly detection, and NLP. Most recently, he was part of the Madrona Venture Studio where he had the idea for Empromptu.
