I was pretty disappointed by the launch as a Nexus 6P user, a lot of the stuff they're touting is already available on Nexuses and other Android phones, so I'm really unclear on why it warrants a $649 price tag. There's no wow factor, it's basically a Nexus 6P. There's no waterproofing or wireless charging like on an S7, no modularity like with the G5 or Moto Z or dual camera system like the...

Ottm is a set of unique hardwood watchbands that fit Apple Watch, Android Wear and Pebble. Its in the last 3 days of the campaign (ending this Saturday). There's three wood types: Maple, Zebrawood and Sandalwood. For Pebble and Android each band uses quick release spring bars and for Apple, the 42 and 38mm use the standard Apple Adapter. And now, time to dump all the wood puns: Get wood for...

Signed up for this. A really enthusiastic fan posted our site to ProductHunt at 5PM a few days ago. It was a special kind of frustrating because it's cool someone liked it enough to post it, but it kind of clipped our wings in terms of launch strategy. Thankfully PH support was cool and worked with the poster and I to take it down.

Really fascinating read, some interesting tidbits: - the Anglo-Saxon word for saltworks being 'wich' means that places such as Norwich, Greenwich and so on used to Salt mines - Indian independence began with defying Britain's oppresive salt production laws. - Salted Cod was huge in British maritime dominance.

Coincidentally I met with an investor who told me a funny story about an e-furniture company back in the dotcom boom. He knew ahead of everybody else that this company with crazy revenues wasn't as solid as everyone thought because he knew the shipping company handling their returns. Sure, they were selling a lot of product, but when it comes to furniture a lot of folks picture the...

This was hunted previously after the first Product Hunt hackathon, but I haven't seen it on games yet! Simply put, Gregory's idea stole the show. Use your smartphone to shoot Producks in your browser, when I first saw this I couldn't believe it was even possible.
