If you are building, you know it: the auth problem is real. It's not impossible to build your own authentication/single sing-on solution (passwordless), but when you have to do it all by yourself, you want to focus on building your product. And, once you've built it, you have to maintain it. That's tricky and more and more complicated as time goes by. So, while I'm building my side project, I am going to use Civic Auth solution because works seamless for both web2 and web3 projects, it's fast [ only a few lines of code needed ], reliable, and above all else, secure. Civic takes care of auth, I'm taking care of building the product. Highly recommend! :-)

I love how its channels keep conversations organized, and the ability to tag teammates ensures that nothing important gets overlooked. Plus, the little touches, like emoji reactions and custom GIFs, add a fun, personal element to the experience. While it can sometimes feel overwhelming to keep up with high volumes of messages in larger teams, the search function helps me stay on top of things. Overall, Slack makes collaboration seamless and enjoyable, especially for remote work.

Dreamwriter is an AI-powered content creation platform designed to streamline the production of high-quality, brand-consistent materials through features like custom-branded content, AI-driven design, and an extensive template library. I praise its ability to amplify brand voice and improve efficiency, making it particularly useful for driving sales and enhancing brand equity. Plus, I love the team. Dreamwriter rocks 🤘

At Surfsite, we're always vigilant about identifying and fixing bugs. **LogRocket**, an AI-driven session replay and analytics tool, helps us pinpoint exactly what’s going wrong. It shows us where customers are facing the most challenges, ensuring we can address issues quickly and efficiently. For specific use cases, an alternative is Hotjar.

Surfsite is a tech company and Jira features on this list as a no-brainer. Each sprint has its roots in Jira and we couldn't program in its absence. Our dev team loves the platform and uses it daily. For simpler projects, Trello is a lighter alternative.

At Surfsite, everyone organizes their business lives—and for some, even their personal lives—using the all-in-one workspace. For us, Notion is our Mission Control Center: every task begins in Notion, and we track its progress there. Being a modular platform allows us to dive as deep as necessary when tackling projects, giving us the flexibility we love. For short texts, we use Stickies or Notes, while for longer content, we rely on Google Docs.

The Surfsite design team relies on Figma for all aspects of our creative process. From crafting the hero section of our website to refining the gallery images for this launch, every element is brought to life in Figma. If it's designed, it's done in Figma. For jotting down ideas or simple sketches we are using: Miro or Excalidraw.
