Wow! Thank you to everyone who supported SoundGate Guitar! Finishing at #2 exceeded our expectations.
For Vahe and me the best part of the day wasn't the ranking - it was the conversations in the comments. We loved seeing how many of you resonated with the need for a real-time practice companion rather than just another video library.
We took notes on every single comment. Here is the top feedback we received and what it means for our roadmap:
New Instruments: A ton of you asked for Bass and Ukulele support so you can jam together. We are focused on perfecting the 6-string engine right now, but Bass is next in line!
Advanced Technique Detection: We had great questions about expression detection. We are actively training our models to catch bends, slides, vibrato, and palm muting.
Distortion & Amp Effects: Right now our engine is optimized for clean tones. Based on your feedback, we are prioritizing updates to handle distorted tones and heavy effects just as accurately.
Android Support: We heard you! Right now we are fully native on Apple (SwiftUI), but we know we need to bring SoundGate to the Android ecosystem.
When I started building Score My Lead, the obvious move was to wire it into HubSpot or Salesforce first, since that is what most scoring tools do.
Skipped it. Partly because building a single integration well takes real time, and partly because I was not sure yet which CRM most people using this would actually have.
Turns out leaving it out was the actual feature. Anyone can use the tool regardless of what they run underneath it, no setup, no data permissions to approve, no account to migrate. Score a lead, get a number, decide what to do with it in whatever system you already use.
Still think a CRM integration comes eventually. For now, the tool being standalone is exactly why people seem to actually open it instead of putting it off for later. anyone else deliberately left a feature out of version 1 and had it turn into the actual selling point instead of a gap?
I have spent years running lead generation for B2B companies, and kept doing the same manual check for every client, quietly, off to the side, never actually turning it into a real system. Score My Lead is that system, finally built into an actual tool.
What you are trying right now is a kind of MVP, the early version, built to test whether the scoring logic actually holds up outside my own head. It is not the finished product, and it will keep changing based on what people say once they use it.
If the scoring feels off for how your business actually sells, or a signal feels missing, I would genuinely like to hear it. That is exactly the kind of feedback this needs right now.
Thanks to anyone checking it out this early, even just saying hello means a lot. :)
