We chose Supabase because it offers a fully open-source stack with a Postgres-first approach, which gives us more flexibility and control over our data. The real-time capabilities, built-in authentication, and strong SQL support made it easier to move fast without locking ourselves into a proprietary ecosystem. It also integrates well with our existing tools and scales reliably as our product grows.
