APP LAB 1.2 is live – Try the complete IT management demo

Hi Product Hunt

I'm an independent developer building APP LAB for small companies where IT is one or two people looking after everyone else. In most of those places the "asset register" is a spreadsheet, tickets arrive by e-mail, and when someone leaves nobody is sure which laptop, monitor and licences should come back.

Hi PH 👋 I'm Shaobin, building 100 apps with AI in one year

Hey everyone! I'm Shaobin, a software engineer from China who builds AI tools in public.

My goal for the next 12 months: ship 100 apps with AI and earn 100,000 (about $14K) from them. I'm a one-person studio. AI coding agents do most of the typing, and I do the deciding. I'll share the wins, the flops and the real numbers along the way.

What I've shipped or am building so far:

- NunuPets: a cozy virtual pet game with no stamina bars, no daily check-ins and no guilt trips. Your pet never dies or punishes you for being away. It's heading to web game platforms soon.

How do you stop AI coding agents from silently duplicating code?

Something I keep running into with vibe coding: the agent loses context mid-task and rebuilds a helper that already exists, under a new name, a couple of folders away.

Everything compiles and tests pass. But now half the app uses version A and half uses version B, and the two slowly drift apart. Each version passes review on its own, so nothing looks broken.

The symptoms can be small, like inconsistent date formatting across pages. They can also be serious. If only one copy got the auth check or input validation, part of your app is protected and part isn t, with no visible sign.

One cheap guardrail I ve seen: at the end of each session, ask the agent to list every new function it created, then check for near-duplicates before release.
