Last year I released my first app and published it to the App Store, and although it took me way longer than planned, I couldn t be more grateful!
Backstory: I started developing a mental health app about a year ago and I added a coming soon banner to ProductHunt. I was planning on releasing the app in October and September had just started, so it was the perfect amount of time to get some users on the waiting list. However, at the same time I created the banner, I was just enrolling in the developer program and it really took too long. I lost track of time and my product launched here, but I didn't even have it on the App Store yet, so I lost those users in the waiting list, since they opened an almost empty launch.
Engagement stages before and after a product launch are extremely important to skyrocket its reach, so how on earth have you achieved this? I m launching soon so I ve decided to join the conversation and participate in forums, but what comes afterwards? (For example, have you done an AMA? And if so, were users genuinely curious of the process behind your product or idea?) All thoughts welcome!
A few days ago, I read a Pinterest report stating that more and more people are searching for topics related to digital detox on the platform. I realised that I have never used this one platform as a marketing channel, there is a huge target audience from the US, and it has around 480 million monthly active users so possibly good for the digital detox app I collaborate with.
Another client wanted to promote on Tinder (tho I wasn't very convinced with such a suggestion as it was not related to the product so much).
When we were scaling our startup, HR was the last thing we had time for and it showed. Payroll errors, clunky onboarding, and a revolving door of talent were slowly killing our momentum.
That s when we found Sapient HR. Honestly, we didn t expect an HR partner to actually feel like an extension of our team. But they helped us streamline everything hiring, compliance, performance tracking and gave us breathing room to focus on growth.
If you're juggling product, funding, and team management, don t underestimate the chaos bad HR can create. Finding the right partner made all the difference for us.

Last month, I posted about the best Payroll / PEO / EOR / HRIS for distributed teams and couldn't NOT include a shoutout to my favorite HRIS tool right now, @charthop . I love the google sheets sync that helps me provide data views / dashboards to the exec and finance teams without them needing to log in to Charthop.
Outside of being an awesome HRIS database, I know there is so much more and we're just getting started with automated workflows. I'd love to hear from other Charthop superusers on how they are using Charthop to supercharge their People Ops work. For example, I've tested out their headcount planning and their compensation add on and loved how you could manage their entire cycle in there, including raise requests, approvals and budgeting.
