Is Listening the Secret to Great Communication?
People often say that effective communication is about how well you speak your choice of words, tone, and delivery. But isn t listening just as, if not more, important? Active listening goes beyond just hearing words; it s about truly understanding the emotions, intentions, and ideas behind them. Think about the best conversations you ve had weren t they the ones where the other person really got you? When you re a good listener, you re able to build deeper connections, respond thoughtfully, and even improve how you express yourself. Do you think listening is an underrated superpower in communication? How do you actively practice it? Maybe it s paraphrasing what you ve heard, asking follow-up questions, or simply resisting the urge to interrupt. Let s talk about how listening shapes great communicators and fosters meaningful interactions!"

Best reading on business strategy?
The more time I spend in building tech tools, the more I realize how important it is to use first principles thinking and de-risk major components and think strategically. Code generation is cheap but human judgement is not - so wondering if you would have any reading you'd recommend on this? Thanks in advance!

How about an unapologetic shill of your own Product Hunt launches?
Here s a question: Why shouldn't you go all-in on promoting your Product Hunt launches? There seems like this strange unwritten rule where you re supposed to be coy about plugging your products or projects. But let's be real here you're proud of your hard work, and your Product Hunt launch is a major milestone! So why not share it? Here s where it gets fun: instead of apologizing for promoting your creation, let s get behind the idea of unapologetic self-promotion. Own it! Own every part of it from the hard work that went into creating your product to the blood, sweat, and tears of putting it out on Product Hunt. We all know that after the launch, you'll want to shout it from the rooftops, so why not start now? I d love to hear: what are the things you re most excited about from your launch or even those launches you love so much? Drop your best self-promotion stories or let's hear about your biggest wins (no shame here, let s hype each other up!)
What "Bad" habits or mindset make you less productive? And how do you fight it?
Sometimes I have a feeling I could use my potential more. E.g. Spending too much time on the internet I could go exercise or read books. Not taking advantage of relationships in terms of networking I should socialise more and ask for help (because I do not do that.). Not being a part of some co-working or so I could have more friends and we could create some projects. ---------- Are you aware of something in your life that keeps you behind?
How do you overcome it or compensate?
How do you keep track of Competitors without losing focus?
I'm working on Draftly (dot) so, a tool to help people and businesses grow on LinkedIn. Recently, I had an experience that made me think. I wan on a call with a potential customer, and during the call they asked how we compared to another tool. I had never heard of it. Turns out, this competitor launched a few months ago and was getting attention in the same space. I tried to learn about them on the spot while on the call, but it didn't go well. The customer didn't sign up, and I realized I need to do a better job of staying updated on new tools in my space. As a small team, it's hard to keep up. We're busy building and improving Draftly, so tracking every new competitor feels impossible. Just curious:
- How do you find out about new competitors early?
- Do you track their features and updates regularly? If yes, how?
- Are there tools, platforms, communities that help you stay on top of things? Would love to hear how others manage this.
What’s your biggest challenge in managing data and workflows?
I ve been searching for a smarter way to manage and interact with my data across tools, and automate a few workflows. I have used Zapier, Make, BoostSpace, etc. in the past and they are great! However, I recently also discovered Needle when their founder reached out to me seeking feedback for their product. What I was impressed with was their API and ability to build context-aware agents. I also hunted Needle on PH today! I would love to understand what solutions you use to currently manage data and workflows across your tools? Please share in the comments as I am learning more about this space.
