Splitz has incorporated many new features since its launch 2 years back. It's still a completely free app to use :) Some of the prominent features are - Personal finance management - Apart from group expenses, you can track your personal expenditures on Splitz as well. Any groups you create, will automatically be added and tracked as your personal trip expense.
Dynamic currency conversion - Splitz gives you a choice to enter expenses in any currency in a group. The app will automatically convert your amount to the group default currency! iOS launch - We recently launched the app for apple ecosystem, which was the most asked question from the users. Bill images - Users can now upload images of bills along with their expenses. Custom categories - Users can create custom categories in a group if the existing default ones are unable to correctly categorize your expenses. Do share your thoughts on this thread if you've used any of these features
I spent last month testing some assumptions like: founders want to meet others in-person. These assumptions failed as it's not as simple as that. There are some intricacies.
Well, I think will come back to the original asusmption that sort of worked. People liked being on the map, sharing their profile, and getting discovered.
As I come really close to launching "MarketFit", I have read about benefits of engaging a Hunter - both from the perspective of credibility and visibility.
I have heard that some Hunters are more focused on hunting in a niche eg only Dev tools, while others are agnostic to the niche/category. So, is it really like approaching each hunter individually and checking their interest in hunting your product or is there a forum via PH?
Also, for those who already got a hunter for their product, did you see the difference in the interest in your product? How long before did you reach out to hunters? Did they charge you money (directly or indirectly)?
Also, any Hunters reading this - would be great if you could help us.
What are you working on right now? What stage your product at? Any challenges you facing? I'll go first I'm working at RAG app that will serve as internal knowledge hub for companies. Connect your tools and find anything through slack! Currently trying to figure out how to do sales and document upload to vector database
Apple's latest event is tomorrow. They are expected to launch brand new iPhones, an Apple Watch pro maybe and maybe some new Mac drops What do you want to see?

Wow, I just realized we only have a few weeks to go till the end of the year For me, I m just starting to prep and plan our content (and PH launch ) for the first quarter of 2024! What about you?
Hey Makers, Nithin and I started LaunchPedia on Jan 8th 2023 and it's been an year of roller coaster ride From literally making no money in the first 6 months and coming close to shutting down, to making $5000 from our digital products in the last 4 months. Here are the 9 lessons I learned from our journey: It's not wrong to pivot. It's better than giving up. Build multiple small bets, until you know what works Plan monetization whenever you're building a new product Build products that make money, especially when your savings are on line Don't overlook email marketing. Collect email addresses, build funnels and setup email sequences from day 1 Don t delay your launch. Ship fast, validate the idea, get feedback, and iterate. Leverage side project marketing. Build free tools and directory sites to increase your distribution and upsell your paid products. Validate the idea using short term distribution strategies. Ex: PH launch, listing on directories, & Ads. You don't need to build fancy products, you can also build info products as long as it is helping people.
To me it would be "$100 M offers" by Alex Hormozi. Because distribution is crucial now to succeed when you build products.
And the book gives actionable tips to create the best offer.
and you ?

Privacy has been a significant global concern for many years. A recent study by the University of Colorado Boulder revealed that the average smartphone user would invest an additional $5 for a standard application ('app') that refrains from monitoring their location, contact lists, and other personal data. With lifelogging devices such as Narrative reshaping this landscape, the prospect of individuals paying for their privacy shortly seems increasingly plausible. Could your company capitalize on this emerging trend?
