Connecting with real life Techies Made easy.

The Problem
As a developer who loves to travel, I always hit the same wall: "How do I find the real tech community here?" Scrolling through generic event sites and impersonal LinkedIn feeds never led to the genuine connections and exciting hackathons I was looking for. The discovery process was broken.

Our Solution
So I built Hackamaps. It s a live map that visualizes your local tech ecosystem. Instantly find nearby developers by skill, track upcoming hackathons, and make meaningful connections. It s the tool I wished existed every time I landed in a new city.

Hackamaps - Plan your coding vacation | discover global hackathons

Plan your coding vacation with Hackamaps - discover hackathons across 6 continents and travel the world while building amazing projects. See the TECH World use hackamaps now!

When you attend a tech event, what do you usually expect?

Exactly one week from now, I ll be co-organising a tech event (a hackathon), and I m realising how much work it actually takes. I ve been to many conferences myself to gather inspiration, but I still can t come close to what I ve experienced as an attendee. Maybe that s also because we re organising it as just a 3-person team.

If you ve been to hackathons or other tech events before, what made a positive impression on you?

How would you raise awareness and build marketing around AI Hackathon (offline event)?

For almost 3 or 4 months, there was an idea to create an offline event (Hackathon) where makers could work in a team, network and partially launch a product on Product Hunt (if it is good).

Time is ticking, and I + 2 other guys, are working relentlessly on our first event in the capital city of my country.
