I don’t usually write negative reviews, but my experience with Dodo Payments has been genuinely painful.
I trusted the platform with my earnings, only to have a payout placed on hold for months with very little real communication or empathy. Everything felt cold, robotic, and procedural — like I wasn’t a real person on the other side of the screen who relies on that money to live and plan life.
The worst part wasn’t even the delay itself — it was the feeling of being powerless. No clear timelines, no human-centered support, just templates and policy talk while my funds remained stuck.
When you work hard and depend on that income, this isn’t “just business.” It creates stress, uncertainty, and frustration that follows you into your day-to-day life.
Maybe others will have a better experience — but for me, this has been one of the most discouraging and emotionally draining experiences I’ve ever had with a payments platform. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this.
