What’s your most underrated delegation trick?

Not looking for the obvious 'use a VA' or hire freelancers.

What s one thing you do that makes delegation actually work for you as a founder?

Could be:

Hello everyone - I create videos for Startups, Brands and Creators, but I need help

I have been creating short form content for a very long time. My forte is Cinematic storytelling, informative videos and motion graphics.

I was a designer in a Startup, which I left in November 2024, since then I have been working in this sector.

Initially I was getting works from startups and Founders, but slowly as days are passing my client base is decreasing. I have not been able to crack any deal in last 2 months.

I have tried cold emailing of every sort, cold messaging on LinkedIn, tried all permutations and combinations to reach out to people, but nothing has worked for me.

What's the one thing you hate doing as a founder/builder (but still have to)?

What s that one task you always end up doing but really wish you didn t have to?

For me, it s the scrappy stuff like cold outreach or chasing feedback (and getting no reply). It's essential, but always pulls me away from deeper work.

What about you?

What's your annoying-but-necessary task.

What’s a product you loved… that completely failed?

You ever fall in love with a product, tell all your friends about it, and then disappeared?

I really liked Wunderlist (task management application). It had a super clean UX, funny tone and felt like it should ve blown up. Well, in the end it didn't survive (I think some internal political war ruined it), but at least now there like 20 new ones in the market to take their space.

Have you ever had a favorite product that totally flopped or shut down? Why do you think it didn t make it?

Is it just me or it is kind of hard to find people to build something with?

Hey,
I ve been a software engineer (backend) for over nine years and have been wanting to build something on my own for a while now. I have ideas, good planning skills, and the discipline to execute, but unfortunately, I lack the experience as an entrepreneur, which I believe is an important aspect. This has led me to consider finding partners to help me bring my ideas to life or collaborate on new projects. However, it s been challenging to find people who are committed, structured, have a long-term mindset, and maintain positive energy.
Many people get excited about a project initially, but then they disappear or lose interest when results don t come quickly. And unfortunately, I m not in a position to hire people at the moment.
Has anyone else been through this? How have you found people who are truly committed to the long haul?
