Anyone using a WhatsApp Chatbot for their business? Results?
I ve been researching WhatsApp chatbots for business and tested a few tools. The potential seems huge:
24/7 customer support without hiring
Automated lead capture from chats
Payments directly in WhatsApp
But I m curious:
For those using one:
Best Clipboard Manager for Mac?
@Paste just launched their latest version, and tbh I'm considering switching over but I'm curious to hear what other people use?
I know @Raycast has a pretty powerful and integrated one that I'm considering using. I currently use @ Pasta which I love.
Do folks have any they recommend? What's the consensus?

AI Hardware Design - should we bring back early 2000's design?
When it comes down to hardware my X feed is filled with two types of designs.
Retro/nostalgic 2000's hardware that was defined by Gameboy translucent purples, Colorful macs, Sony's beautiful eclectic electronics, and embracing colors that pop like pink, purple, and orange.
Sleek, modern, simple designs like the @Humane AI pin, @Limitless, @Friend, or the @omi.
I personally miss the fun days where consumer tech was wacky. Think Tamagotchi, Mini Clips, PSPs, and clear-shelled devices. I do see some like @Burner that have brought back some fun design but I'm curious... what does everyone think?
Should we bring back the weird or embrace the sleek, simple, and modern?
Open Research vs. Big Tech: Where Is AI Innovation Headed Next?
The AI landscape keeps shifting fast, and Mistral AI s recent moves remind us that innovation rarely comes from just one giant. It s fascinating to see a new player emerge with fresh approaches to open-weight models and decentralized R&D challenging the idea that AI progress must be owned by a few massive companies.
This raises a bigger question:
Are we heading toward a more collaborative and open AI ecosystem, or will the big players always dominate the narrative?
Mistral s approach hints at a future where competition sparks creativity, but also where transparency and open research might unlock new breakthroughs faster. For builders and researchers alike, this is both exciting and a bit daunting.
Interaction design gold: Benji Taylor wrote a piece on the magic of Honk
I was a huge fan of @Honk. Around the same time, I was working on realtime interactions and presence for @Tandem, and we explored some similar interactions. In particular, I loved @bernatfortet 's "High-five".
Benji Taylor and Honk took it further, with many delightful interactions like Emoji battles, presence/attention signals, rock-paper-scissors, and more.
Check out his piece here: https://benji.org/honkish

What do you do for your business and brand to make your communication sound more human?
Yesterday, I read that in addition to Klarna, the CEO of Zoom is already using his AI avatar on quarterly calls.
Understandably, these AI gadgets are quite trendy (and make life easier, save time and money)...
What Makes a Great Home Screen Widget in 2025?
Home screen widgets have been around for a while now on both Android and iOS but their design, utility, and popularity seem to vary a lot depending on the platform and user habits.
I thought it might be helpful to open a discussion here:
What types of widgets do you find yourself actually using regularly?
Are there specific features or designs that make a widget stick on your home screen?
Have you noticed a difference in how widgets are used across Android and iOS?
And for something like weather would you prefer a minimal glance, or something richer?

Tips for effectively using Projects?
I really like Claude, and I use it nearly daily. I feel like I'm probably missing out on taking full advantage of it though, because I've never used Projects.
Any tips for using it effectively? Is it better to keep the Projects very niche? Or does it work alright with general/ongoing work?
What's the one thing you hate doing as a founder/builder (but still have to)?
What s that one task you always end up doing but really wish you didn t have to?
For me, it s the scrappy stuff like cold outreach or chasing feedback (and getting no reply). It's essential, but always pulls me away from deeper work.
What about you?
What's your annoying-but-necessary task.
Google Annual I/O conference 2025 and updates you can't miss
Google released a lot of updates at its annual I/O conference.
One of them, which has been a success, is 3D video conferencing (it reminds me a bit of the era when 3D movies were a big boom in 2009). So I assume that we may soon see 4D and 5D experiences.
What part of your job has AI already changed?
I have been thinking a lot about how AI is quietly transforming the way we work, not replacing jobs entirely, but definitely reshaping them.
At a recent Fortune summit, the CEO of Indeed said AI can now handle over half the tasks in most roles. But no single job can be fully automated. OpenAI s Chief People Officer even called it a reimagination of work.

With so many new AI Note Takers - what's your favorite and why?
I've tested so many AI Note takers as of late. @Fathom, @Fireflies.ai , BuildBetter, @Grain, and even Google's Transcribing feature. They're all pretty good but lately @Granola has been winning me over.
BuildBetter is really good for teams, has a nice chat function that lets you chat across all your meetings and get good insight from your team members, calls, clients, etc.
But for personal, and individual notes - Granola is a champion. Recently I've been using Granola's new mobile app for in-person convos and it's amazing. Particularly for my conversations in Japanese, where the chances of me misinterpreting something, missing a key note, or simply not knowing a word are higher. Granola captures all key points and topics and WRITES THE NOTES IN ENGLISH.
Literal immediate translating assistant. I'm not sure if other's do this, but Granola has been the easiest to quickly boot up and get my notes in a snap...without needing to translate.
I'm curious what everyone else uses and why!

How do you help older people keep up with modern technology?
The world has changed rapidly over the past two decades with the internet, new technologies and the accelerated transfer of information.
Anyone not actively working online or in IT may have trouble keeping up with these "tech trends." This is especially true for older generations who did not have the opportunity to grow up with computers as it is today.
