What a blast from the past. It's nice to see a new version finally come out, but it's hard to have confidence in the longevity of this app considering the last real updated was eight years ago.

There's also Zen, which is a Firefox fork that's trying to bring some of @Arc's features to a Firefox experience. It's rough, but totally usable, and development has a lot of momentum. I started using it to replace Arc and it's been decent so far. I know many people love Brave, but personally I find the sketchiness around their business model/revenue off-putting. https://zen-browser.app/

I've been beta-testing this for a while, and it's fantastic. There are still some significant system resource usage issues, but the whole approach is innovative but familiar.

I'm a long-time Alfred user but have switched over to Raycast. It combines a bunch of tools I would typically use separate apps for in a way that feels integrated and of a whole. Alfred still has Raycast beat for how easy it is to extend, but the overall package Raycast offers is tough to beat.

This is a great app and it's awesome to see a new major version. IA is clearly focused on creating a great, highly focused experience, and their attention to detail is often missing from other notetaking apps. The only thing it's missing (for me) is folder support for Dropbox on mobile (like the Desktop version supports), but I understand it's more complicated on mobile. Still, if you're...

I've worked remotely for a while. Here's what works for me: (tl;dr: replace your commute with walks, stand/sit, use the Pomodoro technique) 1. Replace your daily commute with walks: at the time you normally leave for work, go for a walk that is either as long as your commute, or at least 20-30 minutes. I also take a "commute" proxy walk at the end of the day, too – the ritual helps my mind...
Has remote working made anyone a little less productive than before? (working in an office)

Congratulations on the launch! It's always interesting when a new player in password management appears. I signed up to test things out, but once I got past the log in the page text switched to Vietnamese. (saw this first on the set Master Password page). https://locker.io/set-master-password Something you might want to consider updating. I know not everyone speaks English, but I assume you'll...

The spirit behind this idea is great and definitely something companies should consider. The challenge is how to present these options to someone without overwhelming them or turning a seamless experience into a shitty one. Tech folks think about stuff like this all day; most people don't know or don't care to know.

I like it! My main concern is that I use multiple machines, and from what I can tell you can't sync or maintain collections across browsers.

Interesting concept, but $6.50 per can retail? Ouch.

The pricing is a little vague, but I love the concept. If you pay for multiple days do they need to be used consecutively or can they be spread apart?

This is a great example of how Catalyst isn't ready. Just one example: you can't tab between text fields. I dearly hope this doesn't turn into another Adobe Air situation.

Looks interesting, but I'm stuck in the water. It needs a reset password feature as it seems to have choked on mine. I always type and then copy/paste my password for new accounts that lack a "view password" or confirmation option so I don't screw it up. Tried pasting the same password into the desktop client and it's failing. I'm guessing it might not like the exclamation point I used?

I love the idea, and I love answering questionnaires, so this gets a lot of 👍🏼 from me. It would be great to know exactly what happens with the data: where it's stored, for how long, if it's possible to delete, etc., though - have zero indication oh what happens once you hit submit kills my interest.

This looks really good, though I'm with the others that the aggressive on-boarding is a little off-putting. I see that you can share a document, but is it possible to have edits or comments or is that planned / not available?
