great rules, Nika! I am for repurposing content. I prefer posting one piece on different platforms. And it performs differently on them. I write articles mainly I perfectly know that an article may not get thousands of views, but it can still bring you a huge b2b deal (or a couple of them). So I never underestimate a content that didn't go viral.

Hi Rajiv, thanks for the changelog. Can we create a product thread two months before launch day?

Here's this great and almost 'invisible team' behind isFake who supported launches for two weeks, but you probably haven't seen them yet: @olga_scry Olga, CPO @frih Ivan, UX/UI designer who tested every product he commented on, but was flagged as AI, even though he didn't use it. We checked all of his comments using their AI detector and found no evidence of cheating.. @daria_ignatenko Daria,...

How new teams can build community around the product on PH?
I’ve been a part of PH for 2+ years now, and I really love it, met real friends like @abdalyousef and @michalhajtas, and I really learn from @busmark_w_nika , @abbas143official . My team (Scade) have launched twice, and we've been active supporting other launches, giving feedback, sharing advice in discussion, connecting with other makers, and speaking about our own product. This helped us...

From my side, I work a lot with early-stage products and content strategy. What usually helps is to shift the perspective, think of marketing as teaching and sharing rather than selling. Instead of pushing people to buy, you give them useful knowledge around your product. That way, you attract people who already feel the pain your product solves. who do you imagine as your first users indie...

I think for a very first launch it’s really important to have someone who can guide you through the platform. Product Hunt is not as easy for newcomers as it was even a couple of years ago. For our two launches we didn’t work with a hunter either, but we did spend quite a lot of time consulting with people who had launched successfully, just to understand what actually matters here. Now I try...
Do you really need a hunter when you launch on Product Hunt?

I’m exploring the same question right now, but more from the perspective of personal brand vs. product content. For myself, I lean toward platforms where sharing knowledge can be directly supported, through small donations, paid guides, or subscriptions. And at the same time, I still want to share some insights openly on PH or LinkedIn because visibility and trust are just as important. With...

People really trust info published on Reddit, and as a redditor myself I consider it a great source. About 80% of redditors don't use any other social media, which makes this platform unique. I still see quite old threads with a huge traffic. So I'm really surprised by their decision.

Hey Omar, nice to see you here! I think that the best prep for the launch is to become part of the community, support others genuinely and take part in the forums. We all want to see not just great products but also great minds behind them and share experiences :)

I think it depends on the quality of the data. I see how products/stores are becoming more aware of it, and how the quality of replies and suggestions is getting better and better. This leads to the greater conversion. I can see this as a customer myself. But tbh I hate voice assistants in government institutions, they are just so slow and dull :(

Thanks for this idea, I think that mentioning your upcoming launch on conferences and other business events is quite ok and it's kinda a great example of build-in-public strategy.
