I test-restored my backup for the first time. One table came back with 0 of 4,698 rows

I run a few apps on one VPS: Coolify and three self-hosted Supabase databases.

This week I set up proper backups and, for the first time, tested one by restoring it into an empty database and comparing every table.

The copy itself looked fine. The restore didn't:

- 164 of 166 tables matched

From git push to live app + database — without touching a server

Hi Product Hunt,
Deploying a side project shouldn't mean becoming a part-time sysadmin. Openstead takes your repo and gives you a running web service, a managed PostgreSQL or MySQL database, and background workers all connected over a private network, with HTTPS handled.

What's actually in the box:

  • Hobby is free $0 workspace, free web compute, one free MySQL database, 500 build minutes

  • Pro is $25/mo 10 members, audit logs, 2FA enforcement

  • Debug with AI reads redacted failure logs, explains the likely cause, and opens a draft PR for you to review nothing auto-merges

No servers to patch. No reseller between you and your bill. You see the price before you deploy.
