i'm mahira, a nutrition and dietetics student, and i introduced FridgeFix something i built by myself for DoraHacks 2.0.
honestly the idea came from a very unglamorous place lol. i'd open my fridge, see random stuff sitting there, have zero ideas what to do with it, and just end up ordering food instead. as someone who studies nutrition, that always felt kind of ironic to me, knowing so much about food and still wasting it because i couldn't figure out what to make in the moment.
so i built the thing i actually wished existed: you take a photo of whatever's in your fridge, and it just tells you what you can cook with it. that's it. no fancy meal planning, no overthinking.
this is my first time building and shipping something like this completely solo, so it's been a lot of trial and error the past week. but it works, it's live, and i'm genuinely proud of it.d
