Am I the only one who doesn't (know how to) use social media?

I just can't bring myself to invest the time in it. More than that, I'm confounded as to how so many people have the time to follow, update, share, post - all that stuff. When do they work? Am I doing something wrong? Can you convince me to invest more time here? Do you use social media (for your startup)? How? What is the most efficient platform/method? Where are you seeing the biggest benefit? Is there a resource that you could point me to that might convince me to change my mind on social media?

Do you think Twitter will survive?

If you didn't see, last night, a lot of Twitter employees chose resignation over committing to Twitter 2.0, Musk's grand vision for a brand new Twitter. Some have started saying Twitter will last maybe a week and there are reports that the offices have been abruptly closed. Do you think Twitter can survive? Personally, I think it will, it will be buggy for a while and the World Cup is going to be wild on it, but ultimately I see it lasting.

PH community roasted me last week!

I asked people what the last presentation they prepared using PowerPoint and they all said "Do you still use PowerPoint? What a shame!" :D Let me correct it this way: "What was the last presentation you prepared (eg. keynote speech, progress report, sales deck, etc.), and which presentation tool did you use?"

What's your best advice for overcoming procrastination?

Procrastination is HUGE and is one of the many demons that prevents you from getting stuff done. What are some ways that have personally helped you overcome this rather all-too-common obstacle? Here's a couple that have worked for me: - I try to set deadlines and adhere to them. I don't always meet my deadlines, but it at least helps give me a nudge into completing something by X date. - I try to break tasks into smaller and manageable steps. This helps reduce the cognitive overload that a big project has. How about you?

Do you think Bing has a chance to challenge Google?

Bing, since its release, was never taken seriously, I feel, at least not when compared to Google. Now with ChatGPT implemented and the potential to further integrate OpenAI into the Bing-sphere, do you think it has a serious chance to challenge Google?

12 rules that helped us to go from 0 to $17K without any marketing budget šŸš€

1. There is no such thing as too much social proof 2. The higher price, the better customers 3. Empower users, not market them 4. Talking to customers is a shortcut to success 5. Having an email list is a superpower 6. Nobody wants to book a meeting with you 7. Showing the product > Describing the product 8. Nail one acquisition channel before adding the second 9. Sell positive future, not product features 10. Your customers are the best promoters 11. Distribution is more important than the content 12. Paying customers is the true validation You can see how we implement all these rules on the landing page of MakerBox Marketing Workbook https://www.makerbox.club/workbook
