Resolve plugin dev. I made Divecut.

About

I build DaVinci Resolve plugins and OpenFX, and I shoot and grade my own work. Divecut came out of the thing that annoyed me most: Log footage looks like grey soup everywhere outside an editing app, so reviewing a card meant opening one first. Mac and iPad. Osaka, Japan.

Divecut - See your Log footage in the right colour, before you edit

Log footage looks like grey soup in Finder, so reviewing a card means opening an editing app first. Divecut reads each clip's metadata and applies the matching Log-to-Rec.709 conversion on the GPU, so it looks right straight from the folder — 17 Log formats across ten manufacturers. Search by typing what you saw, with a model that runs on your own machine. Cull from the keyboard. It never touches your files: no transcoding, no proxies, nothing written next to your clips. Mac and iPad.
