I am building new forms of cognitive video automation systems with AI. My mission is to contribute to the future of humankind by providing better tools for humans without losing critical agency to automation. Did my PhD in the 00s, when my researcg focus was on traditional computer vision, pattern recognition and machine intelligence algorithms and systems. During 2010s, I started focusing on media intelligence systems and multimodal deep learning.

I am Mika, Founder and CEO of Valossa.

I am proud to introduce a new kind video analysis and productivity service, which enables completely new conversational video experience over video data. Over ten years we have been building and training an AI that understands video like human. We have built APIs, solutions and tools for media on video analytics and management use cases.
Thanks to the new agentic and AI technology progress, we have now built a tool that we really wanted to build ten years ago, but couldn't!

Ask anything: find clips, get insights, get summaries, check content safety. Like ChatGPT, but it actually sees and hears your video. When you're ready to edit: collect clips in an Edit Basket, open a built-in timeline, ask for more clips inside your project, cut by words, remove silence, crop per clip, add subtitles. Ask first, edit second.
