How many hours do you think a workweek should have? (And what's the answer from big companies)

The standard we've known since Henry Ford's time is 40 hours a week.

However, today I came across this article:

Google 60 hours a week is what it demands from its engineers.

What's your favorite 'little' tool at the moment?

By little tool, I don't mean it took a small amount of effort, I mean it does one day-to-day, small task. For me it's probably @Xnapper . It allows me to take beautiful screenshots surrounded by stunning backgrounds in literally a few seconds, where as I used to spend time chucking my screenshots into Figma and playing with the padding to make them look nice. I can't even guess how much time this has saved me

Hosting a LIVE session about lifecycle marketing

A few months ago, we, at Mailmodo, launched a webinar series just for lifecycle marketers. Tomorrow, it all wraps up in the finale!

In the finale, Anna Levitin shares how she made an impact as the first lifecycle hire at a Series B startup no playbook, just 90 days to deliver.

Have you tried the Pomodoro technique?

Hey Product Hunt! We just launched Meowdoro Tracker, a simple but effective Pomodoro timer for Chrome to help you stay focused, avoid burnout, and work smarter.

I ve tried so many productivity hacks, but the Pomodoro technique actually works. It breaks work into focused sessions with short breaks, making deep work easier and more sustainable. We built Meowdoro to make it even better customizable, simple, and fun (with a cat ).
Would love to hear your thoughts! Have you tried the Pomodoro technique? What s your biggest struggle with staying focused?

Do you think software will lose its value as a product to build?

Building software is literally getting easier and easier. What I ve noticed is that just a few years ago, you really needed knowledge, a team, and solid know-how to make the whole process work.

But now, with all these tools popping up on the market almost daily like Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, and so many others it s incredibly easy to build software.

Which of the Product Hunt metrics matter to you the most?

I ve noticed that the purpose of people on Product Hunt is always different. Of course, the vast majority want to become the Product of the Day, Week, Month, or Year (or win Kitty Awards).

However, some are there for the community and their success metrics may lie in something else (e.g. the number of discussions created and rated).

What task management software are you using?

Over the years working for agencies I've become quite familiar with tools like @asana and @Jira , also with @Trello for personal projects. But I was wondering, are these the most used or are these just the ones I've been exposed to? Are there better options? Would love to hear your thoughts down below!

I’ve been waiting too long for this moment...

Hey everyone!

I ve been following the incredible launches on PH for years, always admiring the products that come out of this community. But I never really took the step to launch something myself. I tried a few times, but every time, I felt like my product wasn t ready enough.
