As of June 2023, take the 1-star reviews with a grain of salt. First, let me say that I have only experienced this company through their free trial, so that may differ from folks who are current subs. Still, while testing the platform as an experienced digital marketer (8+ years) with novice paid ad expertise for a startup style SMB, I have mostly positive things to say. The platform is user friendly and, if you provide the right info, it generates something usable on the first try. It speeds up the creative process and allows you to make changes as needed with ease. Given time, it learns how to optimize for your brand, so eventually, as long as your brand is consistent, each output would feel tailored to your organization resulting in less edits from you and/or your team. This is ABSOLUTELY something that I would recommend for an startup because it's cheap, easy, effective, and can grow with you. I'd also recommend this for mid-level marketers/ads employees — people who would most likely understand how to edit any outputs that felt off. However, if your marketing department is disorganized or your brand is undefined, your experience may feel chaotic and useless. In other words, this is a LONG-TERM SOLUTION that will only get better as you utilize it with the right data. For those facing trouble with the refund process, I can't relate. I also requested a refund after the accidental annual charge, and received amazing service on a day and at a time when the office was closed. It did take a while (about 2 weeks), but the communication around this was very clear and timely. In fact, there was never a time when I wondered about my refund because of those emails. The emails explained that depending on my bank and country, times could vary. Given that this is not a U.S. company, that makes sense. My only feedback would be for AdCreative to add a common FAQ section and a button at the top to call out the fact that you can contact them any time. I believe this will make it easier for testers to understand what to expect with their experience. Fingers crossed that this company continues to improve and add upon their features!
