I built SmartMod.ai because, as a moderator, I kept seeing AI-generated posts creep into communities. It s frustrating, lowers trust, and makes queues harder to manage.

Over the past months, I ve been building something I ll be launching here on Product Hunt very soon.

The starting point was a simple observation: Search is no longer just Google.

People are turning to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing Copilot and others AIs and making decisions directly there.

Big update today! v0.2 is out and it brings some features we ve been itching to use ourselves. Here s what s new and how you might use it:

New stuff:

• Public boards with shareable URLs show off your roadmap to the world. Perfect for indie devs who want to build in public or for agencies that want to share progress with clients without sending endless screenshots.

• Community foundations the groundwork is in for voting, suggestions and comments. Imagine your users being able to upvote bugs or propose features directly on your board.

• Redesigned sprint analytics now with better graphs and a single panel view. Want to see if your last sprint was more cruise control or crash landing ? The new analytics will give you a clearer picture.

• Background customisation solid colours, gradients and meshes if you re feeling fancy. Minimalist mode for focus, or add some personality (yes, puppies are still an option).

• Unified sprint panel no more clicking between two different places. Everything s in one spot now.

I renovated and launched DevDiary, a free VSCode Extension that tracks your dev routine locally and generates a complete Programmer Profile that judges your habits badly.

Two things are missing nowadays about VSCode time tracking: free and local. I don't want to be tracked by online services, so I developed DevDiary.

This topic popped into my head because during holidays, vacations, and hot summer days, we re all a little less online, and it shows in the drop in upvotes and reach.

But that also got me thinking: maybe this is the perfect time to talk about your PH launch offline.

There are two types of people (more or less):

1/ The ultra-planners. hey schedule everything down to the minute, know who they re meeting three months from now, and already have their 2027 summer vacation mapped out.

Working and being productive aren t the same thing.

We often sit in front of the laptop for hours, but between context switching, notifications, and tiny distractions.... we barely get real work done.
