MatterOfStocks

Software engineer for Stock Market

About

I'm a software engineer and a architect. I was following the market long before I built anything for it. I love technology and finances. MatterOfStocks idea started in 2020 as a tool for managing my own investments. It ran on my laptop and had exactly one user. I kept adding to it on nights and weekends for a few years. In 2025 I decided one user was the wrong number, and started rebuilding it into something anyone could use. The problem I was trying to solve for myself was simple. There were too many signals and no way to know which ones deserved trust. Every chart said something different. Every pundit had conviction and a track record nobody could check. I wanted to know which of it actually worked, and nobody would tell me.

About Matterofstocks and Methodology

Most stock research asks you to trust it. MatterOfStocks publishes its track record instead. The platform scores US stocks every night from SEC filings and market data, using published rules rather than opinions. Then it does the part almost nobody does: it grades every one of those calls against what the market actually did next, keeps the result permanently, and shows you the misses alongside the hits.

Three commitments, enforced in code rather than in copy

  • Computed, not narrated. AI writes the explanations.

  • The figures come from published rules applied to primary sources, and if the AI's overall view contradicts the computed result, it is replaced with rules-written text before you see it.

  • Every figure comes from published rules applied to primary sources, and AI text that contradicts the underlying math is automatically replaced before you see it. The narration is there to explain the arithmetic, never to produce it.

MatterOfStocks - Research that shows its track record, not just its opinion.

MatterOfStocks publishes its track record instead of asking for trust, and enforces it in code: • Computed, not narrated: AI writes the explanations; published rules compute the figures from SEC filings and market data. • Transparent: 14 years of backtests, failures included, and timestamped calls that are never edited. • The data: company scores, forensic accounting checks, institutional ownership, open-market insider trades and congressional trades. No invented price targets.
