This started as me fixing my own annoyances - the small daily frictions Windows presents when doing my work. It turned out I wasn't the only one bothered by them. So now I build small, focused Windows utilities: one job each, no subscriptions, no cloud, no bloat. Clip is the first: a floating tray that catches every screenshot and download so you can drag it straight into VS Code, Outlook, Jira, Claude, or anywhere else for that matter - under 3 seconds, no File Explorer hunting. I picked Electron deliberately: its startDrag API turns each tray thumbnail into a real OS-level file drag that drops into any app, which is the whole point. Heavier than a native shell, but that one capability is what makes Clip work seamlessly. Building in public. One problem at a time.
