Notion is too much for me, what do people actually use instead

Ok so everyone on here loves notion and i get why, it can do literally everything.
but every time i open it i end up spending 40 min messing with templates and zero minutes actually writing anything down.
i just want somewhere to dump random notes and to dos without having to design a whole system first. anyone found something simpler that still feels like it has some structure? or did you just eventually figure notion out and now it clicks.

Why we want to build a company-owned cloud benchmarks

If companies are going to use Cloud World Model to test infrastructure decisions before spending real money, they should know how closely its simulations match the real cloud.

Documentation from cloud providers is useful, but it cannot replace testing that we run, measure, and publish ourselves.

What happens to a Product Hunt Profile after it gets banned?

I was chatting with a few mates about Product Hunt Profiles, and they mentioned people who had built up good profiles, earned kitty points, stayed active, and then suddenly got banned and were back to zero.
Honestly, I feel like if a profile is banned, there should be a clear reason given for it. Otherwise it's pretty confusing for someone who has spent months building their profile.

Has anyone here experienced this? What do you think?
