What monetization strategy do you apply during the launch on Product Hunt?

I noticed that many of you are using discounts, which is great. Well, recently I started "witnessing" a very specific behaviour about myself: I am more likely to purchase products with a one-time payment rather than a subscription plan when they are launched. Is there a change in how Kitty Coins are calculated?

I've noticed that lately, the Kitty Coins on my account have been decreasing. Now, it doesn't really matter to me since I see them more as a vanity metric, but I was curious if the PH team has made any changes that could be causing this daily reduction in Kitty Coins.
