Every year my team and I design and share a signals and trends report in English and Spanish. As Mexicans, we try to do it from a Latin American perspective, about what we observe and what worries us. I hope you like it and find it useful.

This report, more than a trends showcase, is intended to be a place for reflection on what is happening. That is why this year we decided to use the Greek prefix: META, which usually has three meanings:
Encompassing, mutation, beyond.

This trend report was made from a bias known as the “framing effect”, since we are consciously and deliberately focusing on orienting the signals and trends presented here towards transformation, where we see everything that has happened to us during 2020 as an opportunity to change.
