Hi everyone! I've been on Product Hunt for years, mostly as a lurker. I'm trying to change that and spend more time getting to know the community.
I'm a designer turned developer. I've worked at startups, with companies, as a freelancer, and co-founded Iperstudio. I've launched a couple of things here:
Tearoff, a fun experiment
WireGum, a small ecommerce product that grew out of a real client need
I'm here to discover interesting products and learn from people who have more experience building and launching them.
WireGum is a lightweight commerce backend for existing websites. Add a single script to your site, then turn any element into a product using simple data attributes. WireGum handles the cart, product variants, inventory, orders, shipping, and connects to Stripe for checkout and payments.
Unlike traditional ecommerce platforms, WireGum doesn't own your storefront. Keep using your CMS, static site, or custom stack and build the frontend however you want.
Because building products has become much more accessible thanks to AI, the bar has had to rise a bit, or at least the expectations have become stricter.
I built my own tool SafeLimit, but personally, I wouldn t launch it on Product Hunt yet because it s still very basic and doesn t even have a website.
